If you press the back button and go through the hints, there is mention of using the camera to analyze enemies. Do you have the camera in the beginning or do you find it? I have tried pressing every button I can think of (and refuse to read the instructions:). Does anybody have the camera yet? If so, where will I find it.

You will find the camera later on in the wharf district, you need it so "willy" (i think thats his name) will let you through a door and to prove if some guy is alive or not

and if you haven't read the achievement list then you probably wouldn't know this, but you get achievements for taking pictures of each of the different types of splicers, turrets, bots, big daddies, and little sisters. This is called researching them. Once you max out the research on them you get achievements, and learn where they are vulnerable.

That may not be the best explanation, but the game doesn't make it real clear that you are supposed to do that (at least not as far as I have played) Careful reading the achievement list though, there's spoilers on there.
