My point was if you put an exhausts fan on the top it will screw up the air flow over the cpu heat sink. You will have two fans trying to move air out in two diffrent directions. And depending on if one fan moves more air (the new one on the top probably) then you will dramatacly degrade the proformance of the stock fan in the back. It would probable create some stagnet air somewere in the box. Remeber this is theory on my part but with out clear box to test it on (use smoke to track air flow) that is all anyone has.
