dont mae air blowing in, it doesnt work like people think. its better to blow air out. if it was better to blow air in, MS would have done that with their fan. one thing you can do to cool only the big heatsink, get a coner tube thats 80mm and make the top fan blowing in and point it right at the heatsink and then hack the back fan blowing out at the SAME SPEED. so that way the air passes clear through the fins. other than that, dont do an intake. also, dont forget the filter.

also hot air rises, and its in the jewel so it would be more efficient to blow out instead of the cool air battling the hot air to get to the cpu

The only way I would ever add an intake fan would be if it was directly across from the exhaust (port 3 in this case), and about half the size. I believe two exhausts would be better.

I thought about this some more and if you put an exhausts fan on the top you will re-direct the air-flow from the stock fan, in thery this would degrade the airflow over the cpu heatsink and cause your cpu to overheat. Two exhausts fans on the back would be the best(side by side).

it wouldnt do that because it is easier to get air from the vents that are all over than it is to pull air backwards from a fan.

My point was if you put an exhausts fan on the top it will screw up the air flow over the cpu heat sink. You will have two fans trying to move air out in two diffrent directions. And depending on if one fan moves more air (the new one on the top probably) then you will dramatacly degrade the proformance of the stock fan in the back. It would probable create some stagnet air somewere in the box. Remeber this is theory on my part but with out clear box to test it on (use smoke to track air flow) that is all anyone has.
