I need to buy the brown flex cable that connects the dvd drive to the mobo.. Mine was damaged, the Wii powers on but no video or sound coming from the Wii so I assume the ribbon cable is the problem.. Please PM me w/ a price..

take the front off the wii and to the left of were the sync button is there is a little pcb that sticks out from the main board, check that its in properley as this is the bluetooth and if its come a bit loose it gives you no video or sound, just a black blank screen

yeah, the wii will bootup without dvd drive, it will make a fuss when you want to start a virtual console or channel though. It's probably the bluetooth device that's causing the problem.
