hey i cant burn Cd-rs anymore...everytime it gets about 4-6% of the way thru and i get an error focur or tracking error or sometrhing along those lines...

using nero and or cd-rwin....


files im trying to burn include bin, cue files..


dvd burning works fine... thats about all that'll work tho..


how can i fix this without having to reformat windows..

Uh, if you are getting a hardware error on your DVD burner, your burner is toast.

how come the dvd burner works on my computer but then when i try to burn a cd-r it ejects the disc and says insert a blank disc when there is a blank disc in there...



but i can burn DVD Iso's just fine.

if you're using shitty media thats one possible reason

also trying rebooting, defragging and make sure nothing else is running at the same time

if all else fails...time for a new burner

Make sure that your burner program is wanting to get a cd disc, and not a dvd disc, nero will kick out a cd if you are trying to burn info to a dvd.

Use other Cd-Media and flash ur cd-burner with an new firmware..
