Different Disk Drives For Xbox? W/ Xbox Live Question, Will this effect the mod? Options

I found out there are xboxes with 2 different drives one is phillips one is thompson, the only difference is that the thompson one has more of a U shaped hole in the disk drive than the phillips one does and it cant run burned CD's. Will this effect the modchip or backing up games to the hard drive?

Also if I get a second hard drive and I understand that you can get banned if live detects a different gamers tag or a unusually large hard drive that they can ban your account. Now can I just leave the regular one in there and use that for xbox live and swich back and foarth?

Ok,You are a noob(dont take affence i call all Noobs"Noobs"and there are 3 Thompson,Samsong,Phillips.Ok and the only difference is that Philly and sammy CAN read CDRS if you make 'em..... and i dont know shit about live so if i were you i would stick with stock HD.

Those are all the known dvd drives that are in the xbox 1.

Ok, theyre about 5 different verisions of dvd drives. Thomsons, Phillips v1, Phillips v2, samsung 605b, samsung 605a, and the H/L drive. And if your xbox has already been on live, then yes, you must stick with the stock hard drive. If not, then feel free to upgrade . Damn you alex! lol

I cant tell if your writing towards me in a offencive manner or not? It seems u are but then again im not sure. I just found out if you get another account it has to be on teh same xbox live account. & from somone else's post on this topic I found out that the one you sighn on xbox live for the first time will be the one you have to use every time.

One more thing.. Can I use my friends account on my xbox if I just wanna try it out before i get my own account w/ the bigger HD cuz I wanna see how well the MS-Brand Wireless adapter will work.
