Hi,

I had my xbox modded (27 wires or is it 29) well it stopped working so i opened it up and noticed some of the modded wires came off so i just snipped all of them to do a soft mod Friday.


Well i put it back together and threw in a game and now the eject button(top button) is blinking red.

It doesn't start up at all.

Sorry red /green


Ok ,i had a extra xbox board laying around from another xbox where the drive went. So i switch boards thinking i might have damaged the other board that was modded .

So now i have my original dvd player and hard drive connected to the other board that wasn't modded.


Now when i start it up it blinks red/green .But the xbox logo comes up then a screen that says yout xbox needs to be service.

Please help me...

Thanks so much...I'm going crazy. I almost slam the c r a p out of these boxes!!!

Not to mention i burned my hair!! I didn't have enough light so i lit candles and when i bent over i burned my hair,not once ,but twice!!!

I'm about to throw these boxes out the window!!!!!

classic case of an improper modding environment.
proper lighting, plenty of space, proper tools, and a fridge full of brew are all necessary when dealing with the innards of an xbox.
