I didnt like the wide icons that were avail for this game so I thought Id post mine up before deleting them off the comp.

Great work man. Finally got a Colecovision and NeoPopX

I'm looking at them on a brighter monitor and now I see the detail of the border. I think it looks great with the images/console name inside them.

This thread has made my collection of interesting links so I can find them in the future and other people might stumble on them that way if they've scrolled off the front page.



Here's hoping we get a full set of your icons in the future and other people might come and finish other icon sets or create new ones of their own.

Hey ultimate509,

If I get some wide icons to you that were already made by other people, could you put your border around them so they match? There are quite a few less popular emulators that could use that border and we'll probably never find good artwork for them. At least this way it will all look uniform, like the buttons were all made with that border.

Let me know and I'll get a pack of icons to you.

EDIT 2: Yep.... those borders are the missing link. All categories, games, emulators, etc. I have with the borders, almost no matter what banner is inside, looks great in the PM3 skin.

I have a few that should be changed because there are better images (not ones that you made, but ones that I got a while back with those very same borders), but it's only a few.

I do have wide icons for everything I want, but they are either an odd shape or don't match up well. These banners practically ensure that they will look like they belong there.

Hey bud,

Here's a pack of wide icons I'm currently using that could desperately use your handiwork to get those borders on there. Some of them are for less popular emus that would take forever or be impossible to hunt down good artwork for, some are just company names, and some are categores.

I know there are more, but it took me a long time to put this pack together to be edited. I need to see this stuff fixed on my box before I can get down to the last ones needed and let you know.

If anybody else wants to do this I'm cool with that too. Whoever gets this done is really doing me a solid.



If anybody objects to their wide icons getting the border treatment, just let me know.

yeah sorry I havnt been up on here lately Iv just recently got my 360 back from flashing so during my free time on the week days Im on live and weekends im out, so Ill get around to looking through them and will release a better W/Icon pack Im also gonna try and get more emus done, later.

ps:If anyone else is up for it go ahead but Ill try and get them uploaded 1 week tops..

Cool man. Can't wait to see them. Like I said, those borders and getting the icons the same size are what were needed to make everything uniform, even if the icon was a different style by a different artist.

What's even better, is that the border you are using was already used for a ton of homebrew and other stuff before, so about half of the icons already match the work that you've done.

Hello. I've gotten into the swing of adding an XBOX to my arcade cabinet and created some wide icons myself. Here's what I've finished so far and will add the rest as I get them made. Let me know what you think.

I'm also looking for wide icons that have the PM3 Border that Ultimate509 has been putting on them. Would you be interested in putting the borders on your work to make an alternate set? I'll have to get that border from U509 so others can use it too.

Here's a mockup of a better alternative for PM3, dunno about other skins:

(I used one of giles' mockups as my background just to have something plain to work with)
That seems to work very well for me... I might even use that myself. What do you guys think?

Super bump! Totally forgot I had these in a photobucket, so I have them all (no psd's though). I'm gonna go through and clean them up a bit, and make the transparent versions I've always wanted too. This site inspired me to take another shot at this as they are all 100% uniform. Only prob is that they are the European versions (megadrive, famicom) so I'll have to see about finding some consoles rotated in this same way (my consoles all face the other direction). If anyone has any new requests, let me know now, as once I get done I probably won't go back to do others. Once I get done with the original set, I'll make a transparent set and make an album for that.
