WOW, hey people well I Got a headache looking around the net and cant find a picture or a working TUT
that shows you where to slide theses pins into the 1.6 motherboard for this X3-Solderless adapter.

Cuz I got TO make it WORK!.

I was gambling around sticking them in random holes i thought looked right lol but nah no luck.
-----Well Ill call it a day and Hope someone Does post or know where the
step by step instructions for this adapter is at??
and please post what you know
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Hopefully this wont be 1 of those posts that gets left there for years and years without even 1 signal reply lol laugh.gif that would kinda suck right now

my oppinion about 1.6's is
dont use the quick solder boards.
dont use solderless adapters.. (true for all boxes)

just solder in a pin header and do a wire lpc rebuild.

x3's and x2's use the same rebuild and pin header. but other cheap mods like the aladin, and even chips like a duox2 use a diferent lpc rebuild.

but either way, at the end of the day if your selling them the only way i have found to be sure that the chip still works after shipping is to do a wire rebuild and a solderd lpc header.

quik solder boards suck. sometimes they dont connect to the pad properly or you lose conectivity at the lpc and you cant really test continuity from the pad to the pin once its on. It may boot fine in testing, but after 100 miles of being thrown around a back of a van the things may not work when it gets to the destination.

and solderless adapters almost always find away to pop lose of either the lpc or the d0 point.

so yep wire build. and a solderd lpc header. IMO its the only way to guarantee the chip will fire up when the buyer gets it.

wink.gif

and yeah, Its Good to HOT-GLUE the pins down if your shipping someone an xbox with A solder-less adaptor inside.-- I rarely get these tho
-just good to have for quick lock Hd then softmod , when your low on mod-chisp

All lights have to light up blue right on the adator?
well I placed them all in the correct holes just like pictured.
and I get orange and yellow lights on the adaptor. just 1 blue led.
and this thing aint working. its only fragging on me turns on and off.
-Do they have a Complete Guide for this chip install on a 1.6 Mobo.
thats what i need to find. so far only broken links show up on google

just looking at the install pics up there..

im not sure because i dont use these solder free things but..
isnt point C wrong?

im assuming that its the d0/lfram and wouldnt that be th hole to the right of the 8 in the picture. not the one above it?

here i edited one of the pics and put a black arrow to where i think it should go.

send it to someone with soldering skills - this is just a 10min soldering job which will last forever. you will be able to get your solderless x3 working if you will be lucky but it won't stay working for 1 month - i can guarantee you that biggrin.gif
