these are pics of my neo-geo xbox..please dont waste your carpetunnel on telling me to paint it cause i wont.. i chose this skin for my arcade machine theme for a reason..hope you enjoy or get some good ideas for your own xboxes

IPB Image
as you can see i have the dvd dongle built into the xbox with a 5v relay to control the 4th port. i have an arcade pushbutton custom done as my eject button and a smaller pushbutton for the power.

IPB Image
my smartxx lcd built in the top, the lcd says "Please Insert $.25" and a neo-geo jewel made by the great "no remorse 666".

IPB Image
my component, composite, coaxial digital audio, fiber optic, s-video, vga, and pc speaker outputs.

IPB Image
these two pics are my controller port bi-color leds wired to the pcb wires. (board obviously is gone)

IPB Image

IPB Image
my 4 controllers with the the arcade 1-4 players start button logo custom made jewels from ratemyxbox. (i think. if not would the maker please let me know cause i want more jewels)

IPB Image
my 2 phatboy controllers.

IPB Image
the vga ports for my old skool controllers.

IPB Image

I usually dont post comments on peoples xboxes but im lovin this theme, as an arcade fan myself i think this would make playin oldschool games just a little more "authentic" biggrin.gif . I probley would have placed the power and eject buttons a little diffently, but overall it looks good

also: maybe there is no ¢ in your character set, but imo 25¢ would look better

look at an arcade machine with an lcd sometime.. it says exactly what i put..they dont use the cent symbol either.. and have you ever seen the size of a pushbutton on the inside.. i would love to see one crammed anywhere else.. i slaughtered it to fit even in there.. and thanks guys.

you took your theme all the way through the roof and imo it came out great. i also LOVE the fact that you will not change it to conform anyone elses opinion it shows how much you really love it, and with good reason.

do you have a tut for the fiber optic sound wiring? if so id appreciate a link.

love the jewels on the controllers, and was like wtf when i saw the console jewel but came to realize how much it rocks lol

what is that sticker on the front?

the sticker is the one you get with a smartxx v3.. gotta sport some love for my smartxx.. and i have a japanese neo-geo neo candy metal mame arcade machine and i am a big neo-geo fan so that is the purpose of the neo-geo arcade logo.

Dude....that's sick! Love your Xbox Arcade system. Looking at the back part of the box, you did the full works, all video and audio connections....I guess there is no excuse now on not having the right conectors. I also liked those jewels... very creative. Damn you have a big collection of very old controllers. A very clean and well done mod. You should really charge $.025 for playing on that box. smile.gif
