Scratched disks? Will they replace them or no? Im guessing no. Out of the blue Kameo got scratched by th 360, I dont know it happened but it happened.

Is it still playable? I posted about this little scratching issue in another thread; I actually tried scratching one of my discs, and did, 10 times.... but there were only 2 faint scratch rings on my disc, and it was still perfectly playable.

and fuck the sticker up, commiting fraud, going to court for 2 months sayng WTF *(if they chose to be assholes) and paying 60 bucks for the game you tried to switch.

how about taking it to walmart or somewhere without a reciept and just exchanging it?

edit: not to mention the next person gets the game that doesnt work, realize it worked for the person who rented it before you... hmmmm, who fucked it up i wonder?

I wouldn't talk about switching labels or receipts because i saw some people get banned from it...
Anyway M$ was replacing scratched disc, not sure if they stilll are but its worth a call

Well, called 'em they said theyd ship me a new copy since it was a MS game. Said it might take up to 2 weeks though which kinda sucks but at least I dont have to shell out 50 bucks.

there is no way it just got scratched by the 360. i've used many many many many many optical drives and never once has any drive, cd player, etc i've ever used scratched a disc. ms is being nice to replace any scratched disc whether it is made by them or not.

I called a little over a month ago and still haven't gotten anything. I called today and the ladie said to give it another week because they might have run out of copies and if I don't get it in a week to call back and they will do something for me, another game or whatever.

Ok, calm down there Mr. Optical drive know it all. What I said was I dont know how it happened. Ive read the mechanics on how a disk is scratched this way but I have not, to my knowledge, engaged in this activity. I have not tipped my console while running. I am the only one with access to this console. Yes, they are being kind in a way by replacing disks. Go be a dick in someone elses thread, I just wanted to know if they would replace a disk scratched by their console, asshole.
