Calling All Pro Stickers! Options

Ok, I have seen all these montages of these freakin good players and they are doing these awesome sticks with the plasma grenades. And i'm sitting there saying to my self "HOW THE FUCK DO THEY STICK THEM LIKE THAT?!" I dont know what it is i'm doing wrong but i just cant stick people. I would like to learn how to and i am willing to practice because every once in a blue moon when i do stick a person i think its freakin hilarious. So i'm just asking what tricks do you pro stickers use to stick people with the plasma grenade?

Well I am no "pro" but I do often play whole matches without firing a weapon (stickies only) its a fun change of pace. Basically you just have to learn the amount of "lead" needed. Just practice first on stationary targets, like play on zanzibar and try to hit those crates at varying distances, till you get a feel for how much drop they have. Then practice on moving targets, "the fan" on zanzi works well for that, till you figure out how much you must lead it by at certain distances. In no time you dont even need to think about it, it will just come natural. I still laugh every time i stick someone, there is just something inherently funny about it, espescially when you land a "Hail Mary" sticky.

My all time favorite way to sticky somebody is to jump over their head, look down, and toss it on top of their head. Most of the time they don't see it coming.

it just takes time, or it can come natural I guess. I can't snipe for shit no matter how long I practice.

One thing you need to be aware of is lag. Sometimes stickies go right through your target on Live, which sucks.

Does anyone else laugh when they see "Calling all..." threads or is it just me?

Anyways just play training games and go for plasma's the whole game. Yesterday in a head to head match I had a stick half way accross Sanctuary over one of the walks to the two plasma grenades area in the bases and took out a sniper. He immediately quit. Good times.

I was on xbc earlier today and stickied the whole time, no shots fired and won, it's alot of fun once you practice it for a bit

omg it is sooo easy to stick someone...its like firing your gun....you have to look at them and throw a "plasma grendae" and it should stick them

plasma grenades are the light blue ones that glow....they are the only ones that can stick onto things...besides walls

Consistantly sticking is NOT easy, it takes a lot of practise!

i suck at sticking people, but i do have a mlg ffa vid on my computer where basso gets stuck right in the face on lockout i think bob gets stuck also
