Hi all,

I have a jasper xbox 360 which has modified FW (so i cant send back to MS)

The problem i am having is that nearly every time i turn the wall socket on to power my xbox i get a solid red light on the power brick then i turn it off for 10 seconds then turn back on and its fine but this is nearly every time i want to play on the xbox and dont want to carry on if i am going to damage the xbox

Does anyone have any idea what is the problem and if i should buy a new power brick or not?

Thanks alot

Do you have the brick plugged in before switching on the wall socket? I've found that supplying power in an outlet that previously didn't have power can sometimes cause the PSU to display a red light and stop supplying power to the console.

I would try plugging it in after supplying power to the outlet.
