Hi, done a lot of searching but i cannot ID this chip for sure, im a noob to the xbox scene so any help appreciated. Im a fan of softmods so would like to id this so i can find out how easy this thing is to update or remove. The flash chip is a sst 49lf020, the PCB looks a little amature so i'm guessing its cheapmod? Thanks in advance smile.gif
(got my xbox free btw! looking foward to some PGR2)

yeah its a generic cheapmod, the chip is a 256k rom, and assuming the mod is write-enabled its flashable through evox
