Hynix ram chip on a falcon with broken corner, board gives 0110, so may or may no be anything to do with the ram chip. I have dead boards but none have Hynix chips on them, anyone know if they MUST be like for like or if I can use mixed chips?

I know ideally it should be like for like, but needs must LOL...

I believe yo do, because depending on the box your taking it from is the way the ram is used. Some xbox only have 4 ram chips because they changed the memory, other have smaller ram chips, or big ram chips. Theres a lot of factors, so its recommended you take the same one, but if you want to change it with a different one, use the same same style chip.
