X-chip Sample Received ! Options

I have received a sample X-Chip today and everything is working. The drivers installed with no issues and programing the chip is very easy and fast with the client software.

The sample chip I received did not have the final OS on it so I was not able to test it's advance features. I was told that the testers are very close to having it ready.

The pictures of the chip with usb programmer and new solderless adapter will be up on the Easybuy2000 web site today.

It should not be long till we start shipping.

You are correct. This new adapter is based of the Chameleon design. We added some modifications to it to support the new X-Chip and allow for solder-less ability for the Xbox 1.5.

This new adapter will work for BOTH the Chameleons and the new X-Chips

Sample is out. Full production will begin very shortly. Just waiting for green flag from developers/testers.

Yes you are correct. Again I wish I can ship the chips out. But final OS is not ready. The chip hardware is complete and working but final touch ups are still being completed on the sofware.

As soon as the chip enters full production I will advise the memebers of this comunity.

I was told that 2 weeks ago the sofware will be completed but as we can see that is not the case.

As soon as it's ready I'll let you know.

so since my credit card and 3 buddies of mine have been charged 3 months ago for a chip that is pretty obviouse isnt comeing out anytime soon, and you no responces from emails or phone calls from EB2k, we want our money back and are joining in the class act that is already in progress againsts you guys, we have a tally of about 67 people and growing that have all had been ripped off by you guys, funny how you guys dont respond to emails anymore....WARNING dont beleive this bullsh*t that the chip will be out soon, everytime they say 2 weeks, it gets pushed off, and there taking our money anyways....and all there bull sh*t lines that there not charging our credit cards, ill post a fuc**** credit reciept if thats what it takes, they say they didnt charge me, i have the damn recipt...were is my f*cking money....

can I use my old chameleon adapter with the x-chip?

No you cannot. (not without soldering) However you can use the new adapter for the X-Chip on the Chameleon.

Strange... I havent even received a single reply from EB2k regarding the sample that was supposed to be sent out for me.

Hmm... mayby they dont care about those who help in #xbins-help or the staff.

i wonder, why the pb design includes a crystal oscillator...

these parts break just from falling from a height higher than 10 cm (4 inch)

if a noob gets one in his fingers, feel free to give "live support" eb2k

you will get a lot of RMA returns because of that...you probably would have better taken a resonator!
