Want to know that, I have some Xmugen games installed who I want to make back ups on DVDs.
But I'm affraid if I can loose my "custom firmware installation" from the console's HDD if I do that.
So is possible ?
Thanks.

It's possible, but an ftp link between your pc and your xbox is an easier solution.

If your xbox harddisk is locked (it normally is with a softmod), it won't be recognised on a pc.

If it's unlocked, the xbox won't boot from it.

regards.

When you say "locked" is = softmodded ?
Or the softmodded HDDs have an option for "lock" ?
thx in advance
