My uncle came by this morning with a used PSP he acquired. He told me it doesn't turn on.
He replaced the battery with a new (genuine) Sony.
The PSP didn't come with a power cord, but did have the car charger.
Since I don't mess with anything that starts with PS (PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP), I have no clue where to start diagnosing this problem. If anyone has experienced this before, please let me know what to do so I can acquire the necessary items to fix this for him.

Here's what I know so far:

1. Moving the power switch makes the green power light flicker on for a split second, then turns off.
2. Connecting the car charger makes the orange light come on (I'm guessing it's charging the battery).
3. It doesn't appear to be a broken power switch since it isn't loose and does make the light flicker (for a split second).

Any clues?

4. if doesn work, remove the lcd, and try again
5. if doesnt work you have a bad motherboard
