Hi

I have some movies on my xbox hard drive which until recently have been playing fine on Media Center. Now ALL the movies are playing really fast and I am unable to slow them down to the normal speed.

I tried installing the new XBMC build, but it has made no difference.

I am guessing I have either pressed something wrong on the joystick which needs changing back - or - I have changed something in the video settings that I shouldn't have. (almost definite I havent done the second one).

Help appreciated

unplug your joypad while watching a movie, Ive noticed on a old pad of mine that it tends to turn the volume down its self, due to there being a well worn thumbstick, if it stops when you unplug, get a new pad..

You might have the "Adjust Framerate" option in the video settings checked, which will cause all videos to play at 25FPS, IIRC.

Hi

I made sure the 'adjust framerate' option was unchecked, and tried unplugging the joystick - but it made no difference, the Movies are still playing far too fast.

If it is a bad mplayer.dll how do I go about fixing it?

many thanks

You can either download the patch or reinstall the app altogether. Go the official XBMC site to see all the different file fixes that they have.

Good luck!
