can someone please tell me a good way on how to unlock an hdd for use with hdd_driver, and please dont just say use the search or something like that because ive done all that. So in the time you say that could you just give me the answer instead.

Look at the no modchip hdd replacement tutorial.

Seriously, whoever maintains the main page needs to update this tutorial section. There are still tutorials on the audio exploit and big fonts. And we complain about people in this forum posting questions about outdated stuff. I know I would have had a much easier time soft-modding if it weren't for this page. I first started in August, using the audio exploit for god sakes! I didn't find out about UDE until a month later. I even upgraded my hdd using that tutorial and hdd driver! I got it done, but it took me 6 hours to finally get things to work. I'm scarred for life.
