Not quite the absolute answer.

I'm not looking at the exact list of currently available faceplates ATM, but MS only sells 6 faceplates over the counter. Which only accounts for like 33-50% of the overall faceplates floating around the marketplace (like I said, not quite sure without looking at the exact list). The rest are one-time exclusive distributions, in most cases, restricted to limited individuals and locations.

IMO, this is why collecting them, as a typical consumer, is more than just MS making a buck on them.

I have COD2 and Full Auto. I really want the E3 one but I cant see spending anything over 100 bucks for it. I am gonna go and preorder The Outfit tomorrow at my local EB.

i love the waterpuzzle faceplate, i was thinking about grabbing one from ebay, thatas by far the best looking MS faceplate so far. the only thing i don't like about the face plate is that sometimes they look out of place with the nice custom looking front, but the same boring white everything else. i might end up painting my 360 and a face plate and making a window for the system

but yeah when i picked up FN3, i asked what was the newest promotions and EB said the outfit was the only promo they knew of until at least april, so i dropped a 5.00 $ deposit for it and they gave me the face plate right away, so even if i decide not to buy the game i got the FP for free of if they decide to be dicks, i only payed 5.00 $ for it

well, the 360 comes with 1, some i'm assuming you have at least 1 face plate seeing as you have a gamercard showing 360 games

Wouldn't they call you once the game arrives so that you go pay the rest and be bothering you till you do unless you return the faceplate?

Anyways, I will post my collection as soon as I get my Outfit one.

I import them from Japan since that is the only place they are currently sold at.
