I SWEAR I'm not a n00b! I've just never tried to play a DVD from my hard drive. Personally I just burn DVD's, dont waste the space...but the question has been asked of me, and I'm supposed to be the resident expert!

sooooo...experts????

I figured u can do it with XBMC or XBMP??? Cant figure it out tho??? The only way I was able to do it was to explore to the DVD's folder and open the .vob file...theres gotta be an easier way?

You can use dvd2xbox to dump the movie onto your hard drive, then I'm guessing you can use XBMC or YAMP (Yet Another Media Player) to play it.

You wont be able to play the dvd like it was off the disc (IE: no menus and such), but you can play the individual chapters of the movie.

will YAMP allow me to play it as an ACTUAL dvd with menus and all? can i get it on xbins?
