It Was Working Fine.......x2lite+/frag, help. pls. Options

My modded box has worked fine for a month, then this morning i chose the reboot option from the main evox menu. Now all it will do is Frag, it goes to boot w/a solid green light and quickly reboots itself with a flashing green light, the another quick reboot to a flashing red/green and stays on with no audio or video.

So i figure my chip is dual bank so ill just flip the jumper, but i get the same fragging.
I popped out the chip and get just a normal "error code 5" unlocked drive error. I then grabbed my original hard drive and slapped it in and all works like stock.

I cant see any trace problems and it boots without modchip which would lead me to belive the bios on the modchip is fooked up.

xbox V 1.0, x2.0 lite+, bios 4977(i believe), evox 3935

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a loose wire to me... you should double check all connections...esp your "d0"

Went through a similar problem with my x2 2.2lite+ on my 1.0 box. All i did is re-aligned the chip and everything went back on track. The "thing" with the "+" versions of X2 chips is that they get loose with the time, you have to re-align it once in a while... even if the gren led is still on.

wow tks for the quick replys, i have had allignment problems before but when i do i usually just get an "your xbox needs servicing code 5 error", I thought it might be a larger problem this time because ive not seen it frag like this before.

I was trying to reallign earlier, and i thought it was on right; but i guess ill give it another go.
