Hi Guys,

I have searched on Google and also on here but to no avail. I love the soundtracks of some of my xbox games and wondered if there was a way of copying the files from the original DVD in my modded xbox to my PC then cnverting them to WMA or MP3 so I can burn to CD???

Might be dreaming but would be cool if possible.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers, Johno

Depends on the game. I did this with the music in Amped and Amped 2 for example. They were just in wma format. Easy to grab and convert.

It's teh FIFA soundtrack I'm intersted in, anyone have any ideas or shall I just fiddle myself and report? Just wondered really if anyone has successfully done it rather than me attempt to reinvent the wheel.

Cheers, John

I want to know this as well... They are .asf files which are video files but not really, i don't want to spend $30 on some software to find out that it won't extract the audio from it because I have downloaded ASF-MP3 converters but the one's I've tried haven't worked

Go download one of the Halo 2 editing applications from halomods. Most now support audio extraction. I would recommend ADI.c or DotHalo as I found those easiest to use. Good luck!

audio extraction from the maps doesnt' work at all even with all the newest editing progs

i go to zanzibar map and go to snd/multi/flavor/double kill etc...

then i hit save sound and it tells me saving sounds from an external map isnt available and to wait for an upcoming version.
