Is it possible to get a general / good idea if an Xbox 360 is functional without hooking it up to a TV?

i ask because i am meeting a guy at a coffee shop to buy the unit and wont have access to a tv.

any info appreciated guys

You could only tell if it works I think. Plug in the power and av cables into the back and power it on. See if it does that ring of light show. If you don't plug in the av cables your ring of light will flash red. That's all that I could think of.

OTher then powering it on and making sure there are no errors(via ring of light), if you have a portable DVD player, you could hook it to that.
