i saw this vid last night and i have to admit that i was impressed. i wasnt really interested in the game but the vid showed a lot to like about the game. great graphics, good atmosphere, and cool gameplay.

i would love that game come to the 360. i have grown past the quake games (more of an unreal person) but quake wars looks real fun.

Same here, I'm quite the Unreal fan (played it a couple of times). Quake is nice, but it doesn't have the depth of gameplay that Unreal has.

Nothing will ever beat the original UT, Nothing I say!

I dislike all Quakes except for 2, thats primarily why I want part 4, lol.

I was a console+amiga user for a long time and wasn't that interested the PC FPS shooters - I actually skipped all that Doom / Quake / Duke Nukem era. I was really introduced to FPS (and online playing) with original UT and was blown away (literally, I was always killed in a few seconds). I spend the whole year trying frustratingly to get better in it, fragging day and night and actually learned it pretty well.

I have a screenshots where I'm second in UT's weekly Assault Stats.

To me UT is still the first love and THE online fps shooter - even Halo hasn't surpassed it, although I've probably played the latter much more. Therefore I've been sad about the developement of UT series after the first installation - the inspiration just hasn't been there. That third-person Liandri Conflict with all its "special moves" and "rad characters" etc was a downright insult to original UT.

I really hope they'll go old school with UT 2007, forget this new wave bs and give us a good-old great looking, fluid and addictive game this time around.

Agreed, UT is King and always will be. Carmack had to be sick 2 his stomach when that hit the scene

Sniping in UT became soon a bit too easy with mouse. That's why I actually prefer controller nowadays, it's not too accurate, but you'll get some nice headshots from time to time anyway.

Still, have to cheer for a man with a good taste

I prefer controllers as well now, some think we are nuts but thats fine

What was that add on? or it came with GOTY edition I think. I planted Turrets on Face and I'd get so many kills..hahahaha. And that warp thing, it would suck people up? I'd throw it into the doorways as people would come in to get a flag. I got sucked up in it sometimes

Now THOSE were good times! I wish we'd get the original UT on 360!

Yea im i prefer quake over UT but i know i wont be picking up this game for 360. I read the reviews of the pc version and it got great reviews but they said the multiplayer sux. It was a wrap for me......... im a quake 3 dude so bad multiplayer equals bad game.

Yeah I am also a Q3 arena and UT fan! I will have to pick up Q4! Hopefully the multiplayer online play will be as good as Q3 is.
