What is with the adverts on Xbox Scene? I’ve quite honestly had enough of looking at photoshopped topless men every time I browse the forums… or the secret on how to get white teeth. It’s not what I want to see to be honest.

I understand that adverts help to pay for the running an up keep of a website, maybe you could display adverts that are actually relevant to the subjects discussed on Xbox Scene?

I don’t block adverts out of respect for the websites and the free information they offer, I have been seriously tempted with Xbox Scene though.

As you have a suggestions section I just thought it was worth brining up, thanks for reading.

Edit - screenies of the adverts:

How annoying are those AVI's at the top of news posts? They seem to have a life of their own.

They start playing automatically, extremely loud. If you mute them or pause them, stay on the same page, a few minutes later they are playing again at full volume.

It's got the the point were I've blocked www.burstnet.com in my hosts file, as it's soooooooo annoying.

I appreciate xs makes money from these adds, but this we are kings ad is taking the piss.

The latest advert that i think is just pretty revolting to be honest:

Betgear your right, all the annoying adverts seem to be on www.burstnet.com, i really didnt want to install an adblocker so blocking that domain in my router seems to have done the trick.

Keep reporting the posts. This will be tightened up on very soon with some extra active enforcers

As for the ads, perhaps if they bother you that much you will need to use adblock.
