no, I mean use another dash's ftp server to upload the files..

did you already set upped you bios to boot from cd?.. check youd dvd-rom's jumpre and see if they are correct..

i set it to boot from cd, jumpers are correct.

Hiuh?? I'm FTPing the files from my PC w/ CuteFTP. I'm not doing it from a dash. Is that my problem?

no no.. I mean the dash.. although it shouldnt matter.. try avalaunch to transfer the files.. I mean launch avalaunch, and then connect ftp to xbox..or unleahsx.

Ok, here's what I did. I went into XBMC, My FIles, and created the directory E:\dashboards\uix

I then went to my home pc via the "Workgroups (SMB)" and copied the UIX files into the E:\dashboards\uix directory. When they were done copying I tried launching the uix.xbe. When I launch it it goes to a black screen for a few seconds and then just goes right back to the Avalaunch dashboard.

What am I doing wrong?

you should read some tutorials on that.. I dont even have any UIX/dash2gam installed in my xbox.. other wise I could tell you.. but seems liek you misplaced some files..

I am trying to upgrade a 120GB drive that is now full of games to a new 300GB drive. I tried using the clone feature, however the F drive fails to copy over all my games. I tried FTP'ing to my pc however blazeftp and WSFTP fail to copy the files and I continually get errors during the FTP process. Is there an easy way to put both drives in a pc and copy the F drive over?

I got and xbox that its olready chiped, but i doesnt have any dashboard (even the m$ dashboard) it just enter to a screen with a game that have loaded, and when i put a copy it read it. So i wanna do the copy but how can i get the eprom if i cant acces the console even in FTP? i wanna install evox or unleashed ,whatever, but i can not do anything if i can reach the console. what can i do? i cannot charge the exploit because i cannot charge the saved game of splinter cell.
