Using an NTSC Xbox 1.0, the left 3/4" of the screen is chopped off. The entire screen is shifted. We've tried two different TVs; they both do the same thing. The Xbox was preowned, so we aren't positive that it came with the original A/V cable (It says XBOX on the connector and looks just like a normal one, so I'd assume it is).
Any information would be appreciated.

Look on the botom of the Xbox

See if there is any evidense of the stickers or pads being peeled up

I can't help you with this, but someone else can:
Check for evidense of the Xbox being softmoded (you might not understand, but other X-S members will and can help you)

There was no evidence of the feet or stickers being peeled off.
Not sure what evidence to look for to see if it was softmodded (I'd do some reading, but the site is down sad.gif)
