Xbmc Softmod Wont Play Games Options

iv formatted my C & F drives resoftmodded & installed XBMC Installer Deluxe as the default dashboard however now it wont play games on DVDrs that it would play before, XBMC & games saved on the hard drive work fine tho. here is which XBMC im using:

I suspect you'll get your knuckles rapped for posting that link. You're not suppose to do that to any web site which contains downloadable stuff or direct links to downloadable stuff this forum considers verbotten.

I fell foul of these strict rules once, in all innocence too, posting a link to the same place.

As for your problem: just to be clear we are talking about retail games not playing and not backup or other 'copies'? Have you tried them via another dash - you should always have UnleashX or an alternative dash as an app. That's what I'd try first as it will point you towards whether its a problem with XBMC or something like the disc drive itself.

I think XBMC only tries to read the disk for a short period of time then just gives up UnleashX tries longer to read those games, so games that might not work in XBMC might boot perfectly in UnleashX.

my apologies about the link. i have various dashboards installed including UnleashX & none of them are booting copied discs although they were before, so i am at a loss on how to fix this problem ?

Inability to read DVDs has nothing to do with the dashboard. Your DVD drive is broken. Tweak the laser, replace the laser, or replace the drive.

you need a thompson dvd drive and a multi meeter,
then google: thompson dvd pot tweak xbox.
