Wasabis On Phat And Slim Problems Options

Hi guys... Thanks in advance for your help...

I have both a wasabi for a phat version and one for the slim version.

For the phat version, I flashed the wasabi and got the green light... have installed it following 100% of the instructions. I copied the key.bin in the wasabi directory.... My ODD is an DG-16D2S....

Now this happens:

1- If I boot in Passthrough mode I get an "Open Media" message in the dashboard. I put any disc and it's not recognized. I can open/close the tray with no problems.
2- If I boot in emulation mode I get an "Mixed Media" message in the dashboard, but when I go to the Video Player menu and select the current disc, I get a folder and a message saying "Error: ODD not connected".

What can I be doing wrong?

For the slim version... The problem is that I have a Hitachi-LG DLN10N. How can I extract the key from it? I have another xbox slim (actually of a friend who's willing to swap it with me) who has a Philips-LiteOn 16D5S. Is there something I can do with it, should I swap it???

Thanks for your help... I feel awkward having two xbox, two wasabis and not being able to use any...
