earthquakes in non-earthquake areas are always kindof scary

we had a 5.4 here in IL a few years ago, lots of people were freaking out, but we actually get quite a few quakes around here, most so small you can barely feel them so people dont even notice

the crazy thing about the midwest earthquakes is how far they travel, the 5.4 was felt in atlanta and canada, and a big on in 1812 rang church bells in boston
