Just bought FF8 so I could play it again through pcsxbox, but I've been having trouble getting it to work. Ripped my images using Alcohol 120%, and they work fine with the pc version of PCSX with similar plugins(as i understand it). Using pete's software plugin, with all settings similar/identical to xbox, and things work fine. So why isn't it working under pcsxbox?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: oh sweet baby jesus on a stick. . .i feel like a newb. If anyone else has a similar problem, with FF8 locking up, make sure you turn off graphic filters. It was set to 2xSAL somehow, and it died. Also, you can try deleting the folder in UDATA (as indicated in the readme). I did that too, but if one doesn't work, the other might.
