Well ive read the tuts on sanding and then the oven cleaner but there is a mucheasier method!

1) Take the top of your case off (Voiding your warranty

2) Take off the heat sheet on it by bending the clips holding it on

3) Tak a hairdryer/blowdryer then apply heat on the back till VERY warm to touch Not to hot then slipa nail file or something flat and small to pry off the jewel

4) Let it cool down for a minute try to remove as much of the adheacive as possible

5) Get a sheet of alluminum foil and wrap your jewel up tightley in it

6) place in yur prefered cup/jar

7) Get diet coke (or your prefered cola product) the chepsoda's usually work best except diet coke own rules them all and poor it in the jar

8) let set for 30 minutes

9) peel off the foil (if there is any left) and your puke green should be gone!

10) Done and Done!!! (You may repeat step 7 if all green is not gone)

The tin foil helps eat off the paint (if you have rusted rims this works as well)

Hmmm. I've heard of this for removing rust, but I never knew it could remove paint. Interesting.

Is that even really living? beerchug.gif

I'm assuming this takes all the paint off including the silver, right?

Someone try it and let me know if it works.
