Hi, I've been getting the Error 72 often on last 2 mounths. The problem here is that I know that's the E72 only by doing the 'led' trick on 360.

What happens is that sometimes when I try to quit of a game to the dashboard and JUST HAPPEN ONLY when I quit from a game to dashboard, the 360 crashes and gives me 1 rrod (bottom right). It's not always, it's completly random, sometimes it quits normaly, sometimes crash with a black screen and I need to reboot manually.

I've also got the E72 error when I boot the 360 once or twice but it's very rare and when launching a game either, also very rare.

Just to mention that it ONLY happens in this situations and everything else is fine. I can play all day long fine and then quit to dashboard and it gives me a crash and a red light.

I've tried to swap the HDD for a new one, tried to clean the dashboard by booting it pressing the sync button and even formatted the HDD and reinstalled everything.

Nothing helped. It keeps the same. I don't know what's doing this and why is only sometimes and everything else works fine. If it was a NAND problem it shouldn't boot ALWAYS or most of the times, not only when I quit from a game to dashboard lol. huh.gif

Need a light to figure out what's happening here.

Just guessing ...

A bad file or compatibility issue from a dashboard update - Maybe from Live

Last year - May 2011 - A Microsoft Live Update troubled Hundreds of systems. Maybe same thing.

At least your is not totally killed.

OR - What do you have in Mods ?
