Hey everyone,
Am backing up some games at the moment but am only getting speeds of around 20 kbps and occasionally will jump to 200 - 300 kbps for a moment (a split second) and is taking ages to get the files to the pc. I have a softmodded xbox with ethernet cable to modem/router then to pc. I'm also using filezilla to ftp to xbox. When I copied xbmc etc to xbox it went across really quick (cant remember the speed). Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. have about 15 games to go and have got 1 done in about 2 days.
Thanks Steeley

try backing it up via smb sharing. If you're using xbmc open up the file manager and add one of your computer's shared folders as a network drive then use the xbmc file manager to copy your game folders.
