The LEDs (3mm blue) came in the mail today, soldered them together, coverered 'm up, soldered them to a 12v source under the motherboard.. and voila. =]

Now it's waiting for the water cool parts.

As for the shorting, I completely wrapped up all the + legs. The ground legs just make contact with the case.
