you might have blown the fuse on your psu
well if you have a multi meter, see if tehre is any voltage on teh 5 and 12v coming off teh psu. if not, the go to the tuits section, im sure theres a tut or two on how to replace the fuse.
but what rail (5v or 12v) are the leds on?
also, double check there is no short circuit, coz that is what it sounds like

Get someone who understands what they are doing to check your work. It sounds harsh but I don't think you can fix it yourself
harsh, but fair. you could try to learn all teh electronic stuff, but it would be much easier just to get someone else to look at it. its not a bad thing

the reason im using the molex adaptation is im doing a expirement, which i dont really want to share, but i tested the eject/power and the control ports and they worked fine....the led ring was tested serperately also and worked fine but then i tried testing them both at the same time and i got it to work for a slight second but them it turned off and hasent turned on since i had the idea that maybe if i replace the fuse with one thats slightly larger or w/e u call a fuse that lets more power though maybe that would do the trick

well if it is the fuse you have blown, then gettign a higher rated one will do the trick. but you would have to be drwaing a hell of a lot of current to do that.
and why dont you want to let slip about what it is your trying to do?

so what your saying is that i am using a huge amount of electricity? i am using 4 devices each using 12 volts each so is that to much (this includes lights and hard drive) and the reason i dont really want to open up about the mod im doing is that its very original and took alot of planning and dont really just want to tell every one but rather show....im going to make a video of the xbox or pictures to show what i've done

Not at this rate. It doesn't work and you have damaged something in the PSU to boot. If you don't know how to check even a fuse then I repeat get someone to sort it or might they pinch your LED idea.
