So heres the deal. I have everything apart and have JF 1.77 and the LT+ FW. However I didnt do the original flashing to 1.1, someone else did, so I dont have any of the DVDKey files. Is there some way to retrieve this stuff so I can go from 1.1 to LT+?

Yes, you can. Its all in the 1.38 JFtut PDF. Its not easy though, and if your soldering skills aren't very good you'll want to send it to a pro to be done.

Hmm, no way to use JF or another tool to read the current FW and get the key that way? Since it already has ixtreme on it and isnt stock???

LT is not ixtreme exactly, and has uart probe backdoor closed.
so no, no other way except to mra.

Nope. Track down the guy that modded it for you, he either has the files, or can use JF to likely retrieve the key from database.

Ok ill be meeting him tomorrow. In my newbness, what all should I leave with (besides my correctly modded dvd drive that is). Just the dvd key or should I get .bin files? And do I need to get all 5 of them or what?

Get them all if you can. You will need either dummy.bin or key.bin.
