A while back I mention this mod in my Project Deutschbox thread(which is going nicely). Well here it is it is a stupid small mod but if you like to see things spin you will love this:

Really it is just the dvd drive's metal piece that covers the spindle top has been removed, also it is safe on thommies, I have had this mod for a while and I have had no problems.. yet

noo, he's saying he removed the metal shield a above the spindle.. look at it. Notice it's gone and how he mentions it..? you have over 400/600 post and you don't recognize that? I like it, because you get to see the spindle too. which isn't much, but i like it.
