Lookin For A Lcd Screen Options

hey i have been searchin all over for just a plain regular old lcd screeen like the Hip Pad controller, but smaller....just the lcd part, no like special features just a screen, so if anyone could mabye send a link for one of those and i was also wonderin if anyone has seen a turtorial out there that shows you how to attach a lcd screen to the xbox, because i want to take the thing on trips and stuff but i dont want the one specially made for xbox by 3rd party...also if anyone has seen how to put the xbox like in a smaller place that would be nice

trust me if you are a noob and dont know how to strip and modify a LCD screen you'll have no chance. I'm not flaming you just trying to show you its very difficult.

why would you want a smaller screen than the 1 that is in a hip pad? The one in a hip pad is barely visible (2.5 cm). you need a bigger one than that.

its the best to use but takes a good bit of modifying to work and its cheap as hell.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of LCDs that accept composite cables, which almost (if not all) video signals can be converted to. Finding one that is smaller than 2.4" (which wouldn't be very enjoyable to play, especially for long periods of time) that can be purchased from the internet or a retail outlet may prove to be difficult.

Back to the question at hand ....

If you're looking to take this on trips, your best option is to get the third party LCD screens that accept composite (RCA) connections. If you want be able to hear your game, get something with built-in speakers or a headphone jack. There are LCDs that don't attach to anything, they just sit on a little "kick stand". If your trips are going to be in a car, you can go the headrest monitor route. However, if cost is an issue, your best bet is to get a Hip Pad controller. They can be found for about the same cost as a MS Controller S.

As far as making the XBox smaller. You're not going to get much smaller, and even if you try, you'll end up spending more time and money than what it's worth. Just get a carrying case for your XBox to hold your games, controllers, and cords.
