VIDEO - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4e0unYHk8E

I bought this XBOX about two year ago and was told it had the Xecuter3 chip installed. It worked fine and I installed the 06-06-06 XBMC built and one day I was messing around with it and decided to load some kind of system file for some reason in the file browser. All of the sudden, everything turned black and nothing happened and whenever I tried restarting the system...nothing came on. I forgot about it and now 2 years later I get back to it trying to find out what's wrong with it, I was told to hold the white button while loading and this video will show I tried doing so and yet nothing. Thanks for any help in advance!

I tried FTP'ing the system yet it's not accessible I'm guessing it has something to do with the same issue that prevents the XBOX from booting.

You need to find more about your chips functions on the x2 forum here.I dont know much about the chip but it should have more than 1 bank to boot from I would try booting from a different bank or off of the tsop chip to see if I had any different results.I would also check to see if the chip is still tightly secure and didnt come loose.Try new a/v cables, and booting the xbox with different components disconnected to eliminate a faulty part affecting the whole system this includes the ide and dvd cables as well. This will also maybe show you a dying psu that cant carry the full load but reacts differently when its load is lessened I also do this by powering the hdd off of my pc's psu to lighten the load if I dont have a spare psu handy..

Hi,

have you tried to boot it with a game disk in the dvd drive?

What color is your eject button? Is it flashing or solid?

Check out your modchip and see if there is a trick to disable it.
Some modchip's require you to press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds.
Yours might have that white button trick?

If you can boot a game disk, try a rescue disk like Slayers or AID.

regards.

Yes and it stays the same.
The eject button is solid green when it boots for about 5 seconds and then turns red.
I was told the system had an Xecuter3 chip and to hold the white button yet that didn't help. I don't know much about modding and can't even find out if it's actually hard-modded or not I may had been scammed?

Check the B/S/T section here. There may be someone in your area offering repair services.
