Joystick Sticking, not external just internal Options

Sometime (prob cuz i often store it in my pocket) the joystick has seemed to stick. On the outside it appears fine but ill play gta:vcs and my person will walk tward the screen(down) and to the left. If I remove the two screws on that side of the psp and pry the face up a tad then screw it back it fixz the prob. So far its happend bout 3 r 4 time and thats after owning and keeping it in my pants pocket for little more than a year. Any one else with probs? Maby this will help
