Gta San Andreas, popularity? Options

my gamestop sold out of all the non-reserved copies today and had less than 20 reserves left....

seriously... this is a much better evolution than gtaIII===>vice city


so if you haven't played it and enjoy the gta series... you will love it.

pre ordered copy at game store ... didn't come in time... walked into Target picked one up off the shelf and then cancelled pre order. ....lesson learned.....

I went to Strawberries on Monday, they said they weren't even carrying it; Target wouldn't have it until Wednesday; and Toys R Us wouldn't have them until Tuesday, so I called up GameStop, and they said they, along with EB, had exclusive rights to start selling it that day, at 5pm, but they had to sell their preorders first. So, I went there at 4:30, reserved and paid for it, and waited the half hour for it, since they were only getting 30 copies of it. By the time I got my copy, there was a small crowd packing into the store.

what is the point of your posts, exactly?  Are you trying to convince someone not to play/buy/rent the game?  You don't like the game.. that's nice.  And not everyone like halo, and not everyone likes fighting games.  No one is putting a gun to your head and making you play any of them.

you of all people know the minute a "popular" game comes out people are all over it with awesome this cool that. and the minute someone like me says something negative about it,, well you did exactly what i thought you'd do. knock me for speaking my mind which is exactly what everyone else does by saying they like it.
so are you going to be the totalitarian overlord who knocks people for not liking a game ?

the fact still remains and yes ive played it. this game is exactly the same game as the last 2. Only difference is they capitalized on the fact that every white suburbanite teenage kid thinks he's a 'nigga' , gang banger bawler. (that was NOT a racist comment, im just using the slang thats all).

this game every single aspect of it is the same with the exception of modifying vehicles and modifying your body.
nothing is new infact its the same game engine. same big club hands and mediocre graphics. same wild car driving. Same thing where the cops chase you, smae game same game.

you wanna like it then like it but be fucking honest about why you like this version over the others.

the music ? the fact that your a massively swearing bitchslapping black guy wanna be in the game ? the modding cars ? the huge city ? (which i do like im very glad they went with such a massive environment.)?

what is it,, cuz aside from what i just listed,,, guess what,, its the same game.

i dont care if you say what you think about it but dont do it in this topic. the whole point of this topic was to see if it was going to sell out or not, not to give your input on what you think of the game. and btw i picked up a copy at gamestop tuesday afternoon. lov'n it
