hello i have a PS3 that's currently hooked to an atx psu. when the psu is turned on, it immediately has 3 short beeps and a flashing red light that keeps flashing. There are no green or yellow lights and touching the power button doesn't seem to do anything. touching the eject button will just do the 3 short beeps again

if there are any checks that need to be done, please say so as well, thanks for your time

failure to POST. could be a power issue. Try a different PSU.

Three beeps and flashing red I personally call 'megadeath' as reflow usually does not work. Flashing red can be harder to fix than YLOD, which I can almost always fix with reflow. I suspect with YLOD the processors power up and return an error. With flashing red, I think the processors completely fail to power up at all.
