Hi All,

After successfully replacing all 8 of the ring of light SMD LEDs on my Xbox 360 Slim, i messsed up removing the 0605 LED in the middle.

There are 4 contact pads, the top 2 for negative, bottom too for positive. I have accidently removed the top left (power on LED's negative contact pad) is there an alternative place i can solder a wire to to conntact to the new LED? as i cant for the life of me find a trace for that pad?

None of the ring of light LEDs work now, as i assume it need the power on LED connected.

many thanks

See the trace that leads right up to the pad that was damaged? You need to take a razor blade and scrape that down until you see copper (don't be aggressive). Then you can use some 30 awg wire and connect it to the led. You will likely have to do this for each side. It will be a difficult task, but stick with it and you will get it.
