Hmm, thats a rather strange generalization by ol' Fils-Aime. I'd like to see a follow up with some figures. It could be just down to bad advertising in the rest of Europe at the end of the day, like Japan, Europe is an almost alien world compared to America and England.
Then again Fils-Aime could just be annoyed he was beaten by Cliffy B in a popularity contest.

Well it's doing better because it is so damn cheap. But i am sure once people want a taste of online play they will get a 360. Thats the main reason I dont play my wii as much as I play my 360.

Yes the Wii ii ii is selling only of its low cost. 360 needs to get a bit lower too not to forget about its high end components but still needs to drop. Especialy in europe biggrin.gif .

Since getting my Wii a couple months back, I turned on my xbox 360 twice. Once to check new live arcade offerings and once to watch a DVD (I unplugged my DVD player the other night and forgot to plug it back in and did not have much time to screw with it when I wanted to watch the movie). Anyway, yes live is fun for online but that gets old fast. I prefer gaming in the company of friends and that is where the wii wins hands down. It is a much more social gaming platform. Just about anyone can pick up and play and many of the games are very fun despite being rather simplistic. If I were going to play a good shooter, I would definately prefer it on the 360, but that genre is getting stale for me and the wii just seems to offer more variety, and I find it more enjoyable so its no shock that the Wii is doing so well.
