I found the unicorn and rode around on him for a while cause I just love him. Then to finish the quest, I killed him for his horn, and then I felt so bad...could I have just kept him like a horse?

On my new play-through I was wanting to go search from it without activating the quest and just check it out using a high sneak skill or some invisibility spells. Its to much a waste to kill it off or use it like a regular horse.

ya, i found the unicorn too i rode him a bit, but he kept on attacking me...so i killed him and now i cand drop his horn (or eat it for that matter) is this a quest?
