Isn't a standard HD 3.5"? That only leaves -0.23" of space.

It's not much smaller, actually some of the dimensions are bigger. =x
I thought this 'box was supposed to smaller than the first?

it's bigger than the original in every aspect except for height and weight. however, if you take the hard drive off it's smaller than the original (except for depth).

not to shabby, but for some reason when I saw it on the MTV thing, and all the ourcolony vid's I though it looked way smaller than the original xbox?

apparently, according to IGN, the model shown at E3 was only 10.25 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall.... sounds like either M$ screwed with us or TXB got their measurements wrong... anyone else think that they measured _along_ the concave...?

Makes me wonder if MS was concerned that the console dimensions were going to be a big issue. After everyone seemed more concerned about other things MS decided to go with a the "bigger version" which would allow them to more easily dissapate heat and get a little extra performance.
