I'm getting errors on multiple games trying to rip them.

I've tried

-Halo 3 (I get and error @ 140000 (somewhere there) and then get error @ 0 on the last of the two data bits)
-Oblivion (tells me that it isn't a DVD :S)
-Forza 3 (Error @ 0 also on the 2nd data bit)

This is a picture of me trying to rip Forza.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not please let me know if i am happy.gif

---

The steps I'm taking are as follows

1. Insert a disc (I'm using a DVD-R DL (not sure if it matters if its a - or a + when ripping) 8.5gb full)
2. Find magic number, save layout and edit it to have 3 dummy files first.
3. Stop disc.
4. Remove magnet take data disc out replace with game disc, replace magnet.
5. Spin disc, Dump.

Using windows 7 x32.
DVD drive - Pioneer 216 (Sata version of the 116D I believe)

Where is the edit button around here :S

---

Well I changed the disc from the data one I've been using and found an 8.4gb movie happy.gif so now I'm using that.

Changing to the movie has seemed to solve most of my problems, Halo 3 is still messing up but i think that must be because of the little scratch on it >.<

So i spose this is fixed now tongue.gif

Even though it is a hassle, I recommend to stop using wxripper/DVD Movie swap method and just flash your drive with 0800 fw and use that.

Yes, it will take longer to flash the drive, rip the game then re-flash it back, but then you will get more accurate/proper backups.
