While doing work on the 36X PCB - http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=742662 I decided to start on a PCB for the Duke controller as well.

It's the same deal as the 36X board, just a blank slate so other things can be wired up to it. The only drawback on this board at the moment is the ABXY, Blk and Wht button's contacts. The original Duke board has Analog buttons, and the contacts are covered with a conductive film, then the rubber piece presses on that to make it touch the contacts on the board and the harder it's pressed, the more of it makes contact, and the lower the Resistance, similar to the PS3 controllers or how a volume knob on a stereo works. This will need to be addressed at some point, most likely with the rubber piece being replaced with a more 'typical' one that has the conductive contact on it instead.

These are the renders of the PCB done in DipTrace.

This is very nice I have to say hacking at another console's pcb is a real time consuming process. I have a few S controllers and a duke that I would love to have some boards for. I did not see a picture of the S controller one (just the 360, duke, and wavebird boards) but that would probably be the most comfortable one for everyone to use. The board I chopped down from the CL duke nearly perfectly fit into the wii u pro controller, but I am having trouble with the analogs spinning. I am afraid I hooked up the boards ground and the button traces are going to ground and not the common line, and that is working for a,b,y,rt,lt, and the stick clicks but one of the buttons makes the view look up when I press it its very odd. I forgot just how many controllers and boards I had for a few years and now I am ready to build some cool ones up before the console becomes obsolete. Then when the new consoles come out I will just use the rest of the 360 controllers on that system once I convert them I suppose like we all do with the duke, it is epic in every way.
